Jeffery Bryant aka Kiddie Liddah Labeija
Hailing from Los Angeles, CA Jeffery was a character all in his own right. Finally settling in NYC, Jeffery began to put his life together. Due to financial disadvantages growing up, he refused to have that same lifestyle as an adult. This backfired as he became fixated on acquiring expensive material possessions. Not knowing how to manage his finances, in the past he would rather invest in the latest fashion trends then pay outstanding bills. After becoming more involved with the Black LGBT community, he began to get his life together. This included becoming very spiritual, re-connecting with his biological family (deemed the favourite Gay uncle), and establishing a relationship with his chosen family, which was the Royal House of LaBeija. He remains very outgoing and has not lost his sharp tongue. Connecting through God, he still always speaks from a place or love.
In August 2022 Jeffery fill marry his love Marcus who happens to be the NYC Father - LaBeija. Theirs will be the first LaBeija wedding – a joyous moment, a celebration, a monumental moment. Jeff has been focusing on re-branding LaBeija with a new leadership team. It is because of his leadership that the house is about service outside Ballroom. The aim is to bring the House of LaBeija back to its throne – The Royal House of LaBeija is making a comeback. In a community of misfits he aims for the “kids” to be productive members of society - in hopes of preserving this chosen house and family.
